Post the First

Hello Interwebz!

I know that I want to start a blog because I have a lot of things that I experience, discover, and explore that I think to myself...I should post that in a blog or something.

The problem with this is that I have diverse interests: Veganism, Alternative/Indie music, New York City, Raw Foods, Rock Stars, Pop Culture, nightlife, film, and art to name a few.

So when it came time to think of a name for this blog I couldnt think of an all encompassing name. I didnt want to restrict my blog to something music related or vegan related. So I tried to think of what was always constant in my life. And all I could think of was that I never have any pens. I am constantly borrowing writing utensils from people. It's embarrasing. But unfortunately it's true. And people who know me just have to deal with it.

So there you go. Lame blog name, but hey all the good ones are taken. I couldnt name myself Manhattan Vegan could I? I would surely be shot.

So you can expect all of my interested discoveries and and experiences here in the city for you read (or not).

SO my first bit of new would be to check out the Washington Square News' Top 10 Albums of 2007 where I have a write up on LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver.
